About Wombwell Wood
Wombwell Wood is a wonderful ancient semi-natural broadleaf woodland, with a range of criss crossing paths. The Wood is currently enlarging with new paths being created and trees being planted on adjacent fields.
How to get there:
From Wombwell High Street take B6096 Hough Lane, west towards Jump. At the roundabout take the third exit towards the M1, then at the second roundabout third exit onto Woodhead Lane. The car park can be found on the second turning about 300 metres on your right.

About Woodhead Lane Entrance
The car park is the gateway to the recently created paths of the newly planted community woodland. The new woodland blends nicely into the ancient semi-natural broadleaf woodland of the original Wombwell Wood.

Woodhead Lane Entrance is in Wombwell Wood. From Wombwell High Street take B6096 Hough Lane, west towards Jump. At the roundabout take the third exit towards the M1, then at the second roundabout third exit onto Woodhead Lane. The car park can be found on the second turning about 300metres on your right.
