Floristry Classes

A new floristry course at St Michaels Church is now running, it takes place on a thursday between 1.30 and 3.30 pm.

Emma started the class over 4 years ago after the council stopped funding floristry classes. The ladies who attended really wanted the classes to continue so we continued to meet every Thursday afternoon.

The classes are very informative and enjoyable. We are always creating different flower arrangements for various occasions and gifts. Most new learners are astonished at what they can create on their first class and really enjoyed been creative.

The most important thing is that the learners have fun. Leave their worries at the door and relax for a couple of hours.
Moving the classes from Hoyland to its new base in Wombwell Emma the course organiser said it would give even more people the opportunity to try their hand at floristry.
